There is nothing better and nothing worse than starting. When you first start you feel full of ideas and possibilities of what you could bring to the world and that there are so many good ideas that you’ll never be able to choose!
Then when you finally settle on your master idea, you know the one, that very special something that really blow people away. After carefully considering all your ideas you finally chosen one, you feel like you’ve already made an accomplishment.
Then all the questions start popping into your mind. Will this actually work? Hasn’t this been done before? How am I really going to do this? What will people think? Will anyone care about it? Will this make a difference in other people’s lives?
It’s at this moment that you need to hit pause. Take a moment and realize that it’s not really about any of those questions. It’s about just starting. It’s only after you start something and release it into the world that you learn, grow, and get down to the real nitty gritty work.
We live in a time when it is so easy to share information, ideas, and thoughts. Most people are already oversharing on social media filling Facebook profiles with mundane moments, silly cat videos, and opinions about tv shows you will never watch. The bar has been set extremely low.
Put aside your fear, insecurities, and stop questioning yourself.
